How often does Bindbee sync data?
Updated 4 days ago
Production connectors sync automatically once every 24 hours. Development connectors sync once when they're authorized and then only when you trigger a sync.
Your API calls read our stored copy
Each sync pulls data from your customer's system, normalizes it and stores it. When you call the API, you read that stored copy, so data is as current as the last completed sync. You can read as often as your rate limits allow, but the data won't change between syncs.
The schedule is set per connector
Each connector has its own schedule, so one customer can sync at a different time or frequency from another. We can shorten the interval to as often as every 6 hours on request.
Getting data sooner than the next sync
Trigger a sync from the dashboard or the API when you need fresh data straight away, for example after your customer changes something in their HR system. See "How do I trigger a resync?".
Telling scheduled and manual syncs apart
Every sync webhook payload includes a sync object with a sync_type: AUTOMATED for a scheduled sync, MANUAL for one you triggered. Use it when you handle a manual sync differently, such as running a full read instead of an incremental one. See Webhooks.
