Workday – Which permissions are required?

Below are the Workday permissions required for syncing data with Bindbee. You can grant all the necessary permissions listed for the models you need.

Company, Group, Pay Group

Employee

Some tenant have different configurations so make sure important permissions are added as per your requirements

For Read:

API Operation	Domain Security Policy
Get Only	Worker Data: Public Worker Reports This is the minimum required permission for Integration to work
Get Only	Person Data: Personal Data
Get Only	Person Data: Name This is required to pull Name of Employee
Get Only	Person Data: Home Contact Information This is required to pull Home Address, Home Email and Home Phone of Employees
Get Only	Person Data: Work Contact Information This is required to pull Work Address, Work Email and Work Phone of Employees
Get Only	Person Data: Work Address
Get Only	Personal Data: ID Information This is required to pull National Identifiers ( SSN ) arth1048 of Employees
Get Only	Person Data: Date of Birth This is required to pull Date of Birth of Employees
Get Only	Person Data: Gender This is required to pull Gender of Employees
Get Only	Worker Data: Workers This is required when using Custom Object and need to get that data for Employees
Get Only	Worker Data: Current Staffing Information This is required to pull Employment Status of Employees

For Write:

API Operation	Domain Security Policy
Get Only	Job Requisition Data
Get Only	Manage: Location
Get and Put	Pre Hire: Personal Data
Get and Put	Person Data: Personal Information

For employee write, you also need to search for Edit Business Process Security Policy and Enter the Business Process Type as Hire, and add the newly created security group in the section where the Initiating Action is Hire Employee (Web Service). Press Ok & Done.

Employment
